Claraliz had always performed either as a soprano or as a harpist, until she decided to do both at the same time! Since her debut at the Corvedale Music Festival in England in September 2022, she now takes you on a wonderful musical journey through different genres (opera, oratorio, latin american songs, celtic songs and film music), singing and accompanying herself with the classical harp.

Claraliz began her singing career as a zarzuela and opera singer in New York City with the ensembles Amigos de la Zarzuela and Identity Productions. She then made her solo operatic debut as Violetta in La Traviata in Veracruz, Mexico, which was the gateway to other solo roles, including Rosina from The Barber of Seville and Micaela from Carmen.

Claraliz loves to perform with an orchestra! Whether it's opera arias, duets, concert or oratorio works. She is definitely in her element!

Staying true to her latin american roots, Claraliz and her husband Oliver Puerckhauer (bass-baritone), founded the Duo Sol Latino, where they, with their beautiful classically trained voices, sing concert songs from Mexico, zarzuelas from Spain, tangos from Argentina, and musical theater from the USA, accompanied by either piano, harp, or a mariachi band.

El Chabacano is Germany's first Latin American musical created by Rodrigo Vidal and Gala Montero.

Claraliz is part of the cast and plays the role of Luna, a mexican philosophy student living in Germany.

On-going performances in Germany year round. 

Claraliz also performs "only" as a harpist in various concerts and recitals, and as an invited second harpist in various orchestral projects and concerts in Mexico and Germany.
